Terms of Service
Upon delivery of container SoCal Waste, Inc provides a copy of the work order. The customer must sign the work order at time of delivery. This document constitutes the service contract. It contains all the rules and regulations pertaining to the operation of the container.
All material must be within the container and cannot exceed the top of the container, maximum loading level. Fill in a manner that ensures even distribution of weight, you should avoid putting dirt or concrete in 25 yard and 40 yard containers. An additional service charge will be applied to all loads over the agreed tonnage and under no circumstances shall the weight exceed 10 tons. If in excess of 10 tons, a surcharge, or "excessive weight charge" will result. SoCal Waste, Inc. reserves the right to refuse to haul any container that exceeds capacity. Customer agrees to provide clear access to the container for the purpose of loading and unloading. If SoCal Waste, Inc. is unable to perform service for aforementioned reason, a trip charge will be assessed, or, if a driver is required to wait in excess of 20 minutes, an idle charge for each additional 20 minutes will result.
SoCal Waste, Inc. will not accept: appliances, tires, barrels, stumps, paint, flammable materials or toxic hazardous waste as dictated by local, county, state or federal regulations. Customer assumes responsibility, financial and otherwise, for any and all materials deposited in the container. 10-yard "low boys" are designed for inert materials only: rock, concrete, bricks, and clean dirt (NO grass and roots). The presence of other materials including trash, wood, glass, plastic, metal constitutes a "contaminated load" and SoCal Waste, Inc. will assess a contamination charge per each ton.
SoCal Waste, Inc. is not responsible for damages that may occur to customer's property when providing service as directed by the customer or their agents. If a container is damaged by the customer, their agents, or third parties while in the customers care, customer agrees to pay reasonable repairs to the container. If collection action is required, customer agrees to pay all collection cost including attorney's fees.
SoCal Waste, Inc. offers two delivery periods: mornings and afternoons. Customers must call before 10:00am for same day service. All calls between 10am - 5:00pm will be scheduled for the following morning. SoCal Waste does not guarantee specific delivery times.
